The same can be said about the Northern Blood Kelp and the Grand Reef[locations of the remaining Ghost Leviathans, if you don't want to spoil yourself where they are. And for some odd reason the ones in Mountain Corridor and Ghost Canyon are completly normal. But still, if you have Perimeter Defense System, you're invincible, sooooooo (his charge gets interrupted if you hit him with a charge). His charge can be dangerous tho, so you need to watch out. This guy will emit an ear piercing shriek that could be heard from Pluto everytime he tries to charge at you. Oh and remember when I talked about Reaper's roar and how it gets quieter if it's behind you? Well not here buddy. A funny thing these guys like to do is to spaz out violently and sometimes for prolonged amount of time while making standard Ghost Leviathan sounds. Not to mention that when I was entering the area earlier, he was not there. I decided to have some fun and lingered in the leviathan's aggro area. Until it came to the moment I had to pass through Bone Fields to progress. Today I was coming back to my cyclops, which i named Dichromatic for some reason, after collecting Nickel, Ruby, Uranite, y'know standard Lost Riverstuff. This guy will do absolutely everything in his power to make you laugh. The most noticeable idiot Ghost is in the Lost River Bones Field. I see little to no threat from them and pass through their patrol areas without even worrying about them. While not exactly bending the rules of the phases, these guys are just simply braindead. Now take a look at this monumental explanation, and yeet it out of the window because here comes the Ghost Leviathan. After he deals damage to you, or after a certain amount of time of being in the aggro phase, he will simply lose interest and swim away a long distance from you, most likely towards his idling phase paths, going into either notice phase or idling phase depending on him close you are to it. In this phase if you make contact with it's mouth you will recieve serious damage. He is now approaching you while munching his mouth. In the aggro phase, the counter went to zero. He will also deviate a bit from his normal patrol and his "circular paths" will start to edge towards the player. The timer will go down faster or slower depending on how close you are to the Reaper, and if you get away from him the timer will stop counting down. The timer is set to a random amount when he enters the "notice phase" and will start going down. In this phase he will still circle around his spawnpoint, but a timer starts counting down. Reaper will go into notice phase when you get close enough to see him. And also to notify the roar is quieter if you're facing away from the Reaper, so he can be very close to you, but because he's behind you the roar will be quieter, giving the impression that danger is far away, while in reality he's right behind you. This roar gets louder the closer you are. When the Reaper is in idle phase he will move around his spawnpoint and roar. We can divide the Reaper Leviathan, or even every leviathan aggresive predator, into 4 phases: idle phase, notice phase, aggro phase and deaggro phase. Other leviathans will use tactics to get you, like for example the Reaper Leviathan. I have come to the conclusion that these are probably the least inteligent leviathans in the game.
